Julie Dunmire from FOX17 visits Care Resources PACE in Lowell to tour the new facility and learn more about the program.
“It’s pretty fun. We have a good time and we have good people that take care of us,” Care Resources PACE participant Teresa Broff said.
Participants enjoy many benefits including a Day Center for social activities and transportation to and from Care Resources PACE.
“What Care Resources PACE does is provide participants with support to keep them in their homes and living in the community,” says CEO Kim Smith. “Some of our participants had a long bus ride into Grand Rapids. Now they have a shorter bus ride and they’re able to spend more time at the Center.”
Nearly 400 participants attend Care Resources PACE in both Lowell and Grand Rapids, serving Kent County and beyond.
