High schoolers aren’t the only ones getting ready for prom season in West Michigan. Care Resources PACE hosted its own “senior prom” at its Grand Rapids Day Center, giving participants the opportunity to dress up, dance, socialize and reminisce.
Approximately 80 seniors put on their dancing shoes for the “Cinderella’s Ball” and enjoyed a mix of classic oldies, pop favorites and popular line dance songs. The event even included the crowning of a prom king and queen.
“My favorite part about today is just seeing all the smiles on everyone’s faces,” said Sabrina Cusenza, recreational therapist at Care Resources. “Just seeing everyone smiling, laughing, having fun and dancing on the dance floor.”
