Lowell, Michigan, October 23, 2024 – Care Resources, a community-based program for people 55 years and older, will celebrate the completion of its new $7.1 million facility in Lowell with a community open house from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, November 9th.
Approved by Lowell Township, the 16,500-square-foot building was constructed on nearly 3.4 acres of property at 11730 Fulton St. E. It joins the organization’s original location in Grand Rapids providing affordable medical care and home health services to eligible older adults.
The new site is strategically positioned to better serve participants in the east side of the nonprofit’s growing service area, including northern Kent, Ionia, and Barry counties. Those interested in attending the community open house are encouraged to RSVP online (RSVP’s are appreciated but not required).
“We’re thrilled to unveil our new Lowell location, which will allow us to expand our outreach in West Michigan and support more seniors and their loved ones,” said Chief Executive Officer Kimberly Smith.
