COVID-19 vaccine update

Care Resources is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for all of our participants and staff. In 2023, we began offering the 2023/2024 COVID-19 vaccine booster to provide improved protection against the most common strain of COVID-19. By December 2023, 75% of eligible participants who were offered the vaccine were vaccinated. There are additional participants who we’ve not yet reached to offer the vaccine, and our team will continue to reach out in 2024.

COVID-19 safety guidelines

During 2023 and beyond, all safety protocols in place for Care Resources continued:

• Masks are no longer required; but there may be times in which participants will need to wear masks such as if they are sick, have a COVID-19 exposure, or there’s an outbreak in the Day Center.
• Participant attendance updated and increased!
• Frequent hand washing is required.
• Cleaning of high-touch surfaces occurs daily; industrial cleaning occurs weekly.
