WGVU Morning Show: CEO Kim Smith gives a tour on The Roving Mic with Shelley Irwin

The roving mic heads to Care Resources Pace in Lowell. CEO Kim Smith gives a tour of the new site, providing affordable medical care, day services, and more to our senior community.

The new location can support up to 125 participants, with the goal of keeping them living in their communities and in the comfort of their homes.

“We’re seeing an increased number of participants needing services in this area. We provide services for all of Kent County, so the location really helps cover our participants in the northern Kent area as well as Ionia and Barry County.” said Smith when asked why Lowell was chosen to open a new location.

“We really try to keep participants on the bus for a short amount of time, and we were seeing people in this area, if they wanted to come to our location, they’d have some really long bus rides. So this will provide a shorter bus ride, and hopefully more people in this area will want to join our program.”
