The Day Center

Home away from home

Care Resources, the Dementia Institute, and Kent County Senior Millage have teamed up to offer a friendly environment for seniors to expand their social network with engaging activities and meaningful group interactions.

We provide seniors who are facing caregiving gaps, especially individuals with dementia, a safe setting in one of three different rooms catering to a range of activity levels and social needs.

Quality care at the Center

Our team includes staff with a range of certifications to:

  • Provide care to all of our participants, including those with dementia
  • Support other staff while in the Day Center and in the moment
  • Conduct our own in-house dementia training for the entire Day Center care team

Program options

We offer two program options in both Grand Rapids and Lowell to meet the needs of participants and their families and caregivers:

  • Half days: 4 hours between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM
  • Full days: 8 hours between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM

Download our brochure to learn more, and contact the Care Resources enrollment team today to discuss program eligibility, rates, and scheduling.
