Oct. 2 Career Fair at Care Resources PACE in Grand Rapids

Care Resources PACE®, a community-based program that promotes healthy and independent living for people 55 years and older, will host a career fair Thursday, Oct. 2 at its Grand Rapids day center, 4150 Kalamazoo Ave. SE.

From 3-6 p.m., job seekers are invited to connect directly with the nonprofit’s recruitment team and explore open roles that make a meaningful impact on the lives of older adults in the community. The hiring event will include open interviews for full-time clinical and nonclinical positions.

“At Care Resources PACE, we’re committed to creating a collaborative and mission-driven environment where team members thrive both personally and professionally,” Chief Executive Officer Kimberly Smith said. “We’re seeking candidates with caring hearts and helping hands to support our mission of providing long-term care choices that promote independence, dignity and a high quality of life.

“We offer a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere that values holistic, relationship-centered care and the meaningful connections we build with participants, caregivers and each other.”

Care Resources is a Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly, or PACE®, which is funded by Medicaid and Medicare to provide affordable medical care and home health services to eligible older adults.

With locations in Grand Rapids and Lowell, Care Resources serves more than 400 participants in Kent County and portions of Allegan, Barry, Ionia and Ottawa counties. The nonprofit has a growing team of more than 200 full- and part-time employees who are able to form trusting relationships with participants and spend the time they need to provide compassionate care without the frenetic pace of a traditional health care setting.
